Engineering will develop as a driver of Kazakhstan industrialization – Tokayev
Engineering is a leading sector of the economy and a driver of industrialization in Kazakhstan. This was stated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, at the VII Forum of Mechanical Engineers of Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz reports.
“Dear forum participants, I congratulate you on holding the VII Forum of Mechanical Engineers of Kazakhstan! At present, the machine-building industry produces a huge amount of products, from spare parts to high-tech modern equipment; it also produces diesel locomotives, passenger and freight cars, trucks and cars, transformers, as well as other sophisticated equipment. Engineering is an industry that contributes to the development of the entire Kazakhstani economy,” said in the welcoming speech, read out by Maulen Ashimbayev, assistant to the Head of State.
The President expressed confidence that the forces of machine builders and the state will contribute to the development of mechanical engineering as a driver of industrialization of Kazakhstan.
In conclusion, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev wished fruitful work to the forum participants.
