A ceremony was held at the Government, attended by First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar, to sign a cooperation agreement between Ust-Kamenogorsk Valve Plant JSC (UKAZ JSC) and Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K JSC (CPC-K JSC).
The document on import substitution of industrial equipment was signed by Alexander Budris, CEO of JSC UKAZ, and Nikolai Gorbun, CEO of Caspian Pipeline Consortium.
The cooperation is aimed at developing local production of shut-off valves, pump units, and electric motors, expanding the use of domestic equipment at main oil pipeline transport facilities, and forming sustainable cooperation between Kazakhstan's largest manufacturer of pipeline valves and one of the key operators of oil transport infrastructure.
Under the agreement, the parties intend to supply KTK-K JSC with high-tech materials, components, and equipment of Kazakh origin, perform maintenance, modernization, and testing of equipment, as well as jointly develop and implement innovative technological solutions.
