Our goal: Support and development of domestic machine building, consolidation of consumers and manufacturers of machine building products.
Mission: To bring the domestic machine-building industry to a competitive and export-oriented level.
Every year the JMC holds the Forum of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan and the international specialized exhibition Kazakhstan Machinery Fair with the participation of international experts.
“The Union of Machine-Builders of Kazakhstan was established to consolidate domestic enterprises for the effective development of the machine-building industry of the country, to assist in solving systemic problems of the industry, to establish cooperation between enterprises, to represent their interests in interaction with government agencies and other organizations, to participate in the work to improve legislation, regulatory sphere and technical regulation, to participate in the work of expert and working groups, commissions, as well as to carry out other functions of the Union.
Cooperative relations with 13 foreign machine-building associations in Europe and Asia have been established
For the last 10 years of industrialization in the mechanical engineering industry, the volume of production increased 4.8 times, investments - 2.9 times, the volume of exports increased 3.5 times.
The volume of production in the mechanical engineering industry for the period January-December 2020 amounted to 1,807.4 billion tg. At the same time, the share of mechanical engineering amounted to 14% in the manufacturing industry and 7% in the whole industry of Kazakhstan. IFO -116.3%, amounting to 1.8 trillion tenge in monetary terms.
In January-April 2021, the volume of production in mechanical engineering reached the mark of 648.2 billion tenge in monetary terms and increased by 25.4% compared to January-April 2020 (517.1 billion tenge). IFO production of the industry amounted to 120.6% compared to the same period of 2020.
During the last 10 years of industrialization, the volume of investments in machine building has increased 2.9 times.
During the years of industrialization, the country attracted world industry leaders General Electric, General Motors, Toyota, Alstom, Talgo.
The first five-year period of industrialization was marked by the implementation of large industrial projects, the second stage of strengthening the share of SMEs, the implementation of the third five-year period of industrialization will allow to create a competitive manufacturing industry and solve the problems of increasing exports of processed products, to technologically complicate the manufactured products, to create quality jobs.

For January-March 2021, the volume of exports of engineering products of Kazakhstan, amounted to 277.1 million U.S. dollars. In January-March 2021, the volume of exports of engineering products of Kazakhstan amounted to 277.1 million USD, and decreased by 11.9% compared to the same period last year (January-March 2020 - 247.7 million USD).
In January-March 2021, the machinery industry saw a 2.2-fold increase in exports of lead batteries, a 12% increase in exports of fittings other, however, exports of vehicles with internal combustion engine with spark ignition and reciprocating piston movement decreased by 75.4%, bogies and axles for railway transport by 44.6%, bearings with cylindrical rollers by 37.5%.

Positive dynamics of production growth is observed in all sectors of the industry.
The growth in the production of electrical equipment for the mentioned period was due to the increase in the production of electrical transformers, accumulators and capacitors, the increase in the production of motor vehicles was due to the increase in the production of cars, trucks and buses.
Production of machinery and equipment not included in other categories increased due to the growth of production of centrifugal pumps, heat-exchange devices and refrigeration equipment.
Also, the production of non-self-propelled freight cars increased by 4.8 times compared to the same period last year.

Currently, the Union unites more than 636 participants - domestic machine-building enterprises, specialized associations and national companies.
On the initiative and with the direct participation of the Union in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Roadmap for the development of mechanical engineering for 2019-2024 (approved by the order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 115-R of June 26, 2019) was adopted for implementation.
The Union is accredited by the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken”.
Every year the Union organizes the Forum of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan with participation of foreign delegations and representatives. The Union is open for new members to join it. Enterprises can join the Union as participants with the right of casting vote or as associated participants with the right of deliberative vote.
