Azamat Panbaev, Chairman of the Industry Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held a meeting with representatives of the Chinese company Xiamen C&D Group.

The main purpose of the event was to establish contacts and discuss opportunities for implementing a project to build a cable manufacturing plant in Kazakhstan.

A. Panbaev noted that the ministry is open to cooperation on joint projects and briefed potential investors on the current state of the cable industry and the preferential measures and incentives available for projects implemented within the country.

Representatives of Xiamen C&D Group expressed a positive opinion about the meeting, noting that it was very productive and interesting. Following the talks, the parties expressed their gratitude to one another for the constructive dialogue and emphasized the importance of developing bilateral relations.

It is worth noting that Xiamen C&D Group is a Chinese state-owned company specializing in the wholesale trade of raw materials and goods, logistics, investments, real estate, business tourism, and the hotel industry. Founded in 1980, the company ranked 85th on the Fortune Global 500 list in 2024, with annual operating revenue exceeding $95 billion and a workforce of over 64,000 employees.
