From October 13 to 16, 2025, representatives of the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry – Deputy Executive Director Makhambet Mendigaliyev and Lead Manager of the Department of Regional Development and Certification Alexey Ishchuk – carried out a working visit to the People’s Republic of China.

The main purpose of the visit was to develop international cooperation, exchange experience, and establish business contacts with leading enterprises in China’s mechanical engineering industry.

On October 13–14, the Association’s representatives, as part of a delegation that included specialists from ENKO Energy Company LLP and NAC Kazatomprom JSC, visited the TESK plant in Hangzhou, one of the leading manufacturers of industrial pumps.

On October 15–16, the delegation took part in the 138th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) in Guangzhou. During the visit, the Union’s representatives familiarized themselves with the exhibits of major Chinese manufacturers such as FORE (bearings), Zhejiang Jinlong (electric motors and generators), MiuMac (machine tools), Lefoo (measuring instruments), JonTec (metal products), Tengzhou Tri-Union Machinery Co. LTD (industrial tools), Suzhou Jwell Machinery Co. LTD (equipment for light and food industries), and Wantong (power generators).

During visits to enterprises and negotiations with company management, the Association’s representatives presented information about the activities and achievements of the AKMI and extended official invitations to company leaders to participate in the Kazakhstan Machinery Forum and the international exhibition “Kazakhstan Machinery Fair – 2026.”

The working visit contributed to strengthening partnerships between Kazakhstan and China in the field of mechanical engineering and promoting the Kazakhstan Machinery Fair at the international level.
