The Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry held its fourteenth online meeting of 2026, attended by regional representatives, machinery manufacturers, and industry partners. During the meeting, key government support measures were reviewed and the production capabilities of domestic companies were presented.
One of the topics discussed was a presentation of government support measures implemented by JSC “Development Bank of Kazakhstan” (DBK). Sovetkhan Tolegen, Senior Banker for the Machinery Industry, presented financing instruments aimed at developing the non-resource sector of the economy.
DBK acts as a development finance institution, facilitating the implementation of large-scale investment projects with significant socio-economic impact. The Bank’s activities are focused on supporting strategically important sectors, including mechanical engineering, the chemical and oil and gas chemical industries, and pharmaceuticals, as well as infrastructure development—energy, transportation, and housing and utilities.
During the presentation, particular attention was paid to the role of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan in diversifying Kazakhstan’s economy. The Bank’s financial instruments enable enterprises to launch new production facilities, modernize their capacity, and enhance the competitiveness of their products in both domestic and international markets.
The meeting participants were also given a presentation by TIMG LLP. The company’s director, Ernaz Esbergenov, spoke about the production capabilities of the enterprise, which was established in 2025 on the basis of the machine-building company “Inkar-1,” which has been operating in the market since 1998.
The company has a production site with a total area of 10,000 square meters, of which 3,500 square meters are production facilities. The company employs approximately 100 people. The average annual production volume exceeds 5,000 units, and the number of regular customers is more than 100 companies.
Production processes comply with international standards, including EN 15085, ISO 3834, and ASME IX, which confirms the high level of quality and reliability of the manufactured products. The company provides a wide range of services—from laser cutting and metal rolling to the production and painting of metal structures.
Following the meeting, participants noted the importance of further strengthening cooperation between development finance institutions and industrial enterprises. The consolidation of efforts by the government and the business sector is a key factor in the sustainable growth of the machine-building industry and in increasing its contribution to the country’s economy.
