Tynys JSC has launched a new socially significant project — the production of electric attachments for wheelchairs designed for people with disabilities. The assembly of the first devices is scheduled to begin in 2026 at the company’s production facility in Kokshetau. At the initial stage, 300 electric attachments will be produced and distributed to residents of the Akmola Region. In the future, the plant plans to expand production and supply the product to all regions of Kazakhstan.

The company’s technical capabilities allow for the assembly of serial batches within a few weeks, as all the necessary material and technical infrastructure is already in place at the plant.

According to Alexander Shavrin, Technical Director of Tynys JSC, the enterprise is fully prepared to launch the new product line:

“This year, we received an order to implement a project for producing electric attachments for wheelchairs. Next year, we plan to manufacture 300 units, and subsequently increase output to 6,000. In addition, the plant continues to develop other areas, including the production of gas cylinders, where we have considerable experience”.

The production of electric attachments carries not only economic but also social importance. These devices help people with disabilities become more mobile, lead active and independent lives, participate in community events, and feel fully integrated into society. The attachments greatly ease movement — including across uneven surfaces — and make it possible to travel beyond the home, offering users greater freedom. Thus, this is not just technology, but a step toward an accessible environment where everyone can move with confidence.

Furthermore, implementing this project domestically reduces dependence on imports, as similar devices were previously supplied to Kazakhstan from abroad in limited quantities. Now, local users will have access to high-quality and reliable electric attachments tailored to local conditions and assembled by Kazakhstani specialists.
