On September 26, the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a solemn meeting dedicated to the celebration of Machine Builder's Day. The event brought together industry leaders, representatives of enterprises and regions, as well as distinguished workers who have made a significant contribution to the development of domestic machine building.
The Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ersayin Nagaspayev, delivered a welcoming speech. He expressed his gratitude to the workers for their professionalism and role in shaping the industrial potential of Kazakhstan.
Meiram Pshembaev, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry, noted in his speech that machine building ensures the country's energy, transport, agricultural, and industrial security.
“Machine building has become one of the key industries in Kazakhstan. Engineers, designers, workers, managers – you make a real contribution to the development of the economy, introduce innovations, and strengthen the country's export potential. Your professionalism and dedication are the foundation of the success of the entire industry,” said Meyram Pshembaev.
A total of 64 employees in the machine building industry received high state awards. Thirty-nine industry specialists were nominated for state awards by the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan.
The presentation of the awards was a symbolic recognition of the merits of both enterprise managers and representatives of the working professions.
Among them are recipients of the Kurmet and Enbek Danky orders, the Eren Enbegi Ushin medal, and the Kurmet Machine Builder badge.
The Order of Kurmet was awarded to Askar Syzdykov, CEO of Astana Electrical Engineering Plant LLP.
The Enbek Danky Order of the III degree was awarded to Roman Abenov, CEO of QSM Resources LLP, Aibek Kazhkenov, Chairman of the Union of Lifting Mechanism Manufacturers, and Ruslan Ibragimov, Director of Energy Company LLP.
The Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ersayin Nagaspayev, awarded the Eren Enbegi Ushin Medal to: Kanat Amirov, electric welder at Lokomotiv Kurastyru Zavod JSC, Kanat Amirov, turner at KARLSKRONA LC AB LLP, Alexander Chernykh, transformer coil winder at Ural Transformer Plant LLP, Baurzhan Erzhikeshev, mechanic at Tynyz JSC, Vitaly Myza, head of the design team at Maker Alexander Em.
In addition, Alexander Svetlichny, an electric and gas welder at Kamaz-Engineering JSC, was awarded the “Kurmetti Mashina Zhasaushy” badge.
The award-winning representatives of the enterprises participating in the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan expressed their gratitude for the trust and attention given to their work.
Alexander Em, head of the design team at Maker LLP, who was awarded the “Eren enbegi ushin” medal, emphasized the importance of teamwork:
“We, as engineers, develop documentation and lay the foundation for projects, but it is the workers who bring ideas to life. It is their work that makes possible what seemed impossible yesterday. Receiving this award is recognition of the contribution of our entire team.”
Vitaly Myza, a mechanic at Tynyz JSC, who was also awarded the Eren Enbegi Ushin medal, shared his impressions:
"It is a great honor for me to receive a state award. This year marks my 32nd year of working at Tynyz JSC. All this time, I have tried to contribute to the development of the plant. I am confident that we still have many tasks and achievements ahead of us."
The ceremony was a vivid confirmation of the recognition of the professionalism and dedication of the employees. It was also an important sign of attention to the role of mechanical engineering in the development of the country's economy.
Machine Builder's Day is traditionally celebrated in Kazakhstan on the last Sunday of September. The industry is showing steady growth: at the end of 2024, production volume amounted to 4.8 trillion tenge, which is 11.6% higher than in 2023. Investments in mechanical engineering reached 290.7 billion tenge, which is a record for the last decade and more than 2.5 times higher than in 2023.
These achievements confirm the high demand for domestic mechanical engineering products and the strategic importance of the industry for the country's economy.
