Yersayin Nagaspayev, Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, participated in the seventh meeting of the EAEU Council on Industrial Policy, which took place on the sidelines of the international industrial exhibition “INNOPROM. BELARUS.”
The meeting focused on practical steps to deepen industrial cooperation and launch joint initiatives in the Union’s priority sectors.
The meeting’s agenda included the implementation of a financial support mechanism for industrial cooperation, as well as the development of cooperation in civil aviation, shipbuilding, and the production of railway rolling stock and passenger wheeled vehicles.
Special attention was given to the creation of the “EAEU Industry” thematic portal, which will serve as a working tool for communication and navigation regarding cooperation projects.
Following the discussion, the ministers agreed on further steps to develop industrial integration. The Kazakh side confirmed its readiness to actively participate in joint projects aimed at strengthening ties within the Union and expanding the export potential of the national industry.
