At the direction of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, comprehensive efforts are underway in Kazakhstan to build a solid industrial foundation. One of the key drivers is the machinery manufacturing sector—a cornerstone of the manufacturing industry.
Kazakhstan’s Minister of Industry and Construction, Yersayin Nagaspayev, noted that the manufacturing sector grew by 6.1% over the first seven months of 2025, with production volume exceeding 16 trillion tenge.
The Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry emphasized that the industry’s further development is impossible without support for domestic manufacturers and the introduction of modern production facilities.
“Machine building is a strategic sector that supports the operations of transportation, energy, and the extractive industries. Today, the Union is actively involved in implementing industrial policy, promoting the interests of enterprises and seeking to strengthen support measures,” noted Talgat Bazarbekov, Director of the Executive Directorate of the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan.
The launch of a unified Register of Domestic Manufacturers is of great importance, as it is designed to make procurement transparent and open up new opportunities for Kazakhstani companies. It is important that the Register include only actual manufacturers with production capacity who produce goods in Kazakhstan. The Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry will continue to work to ensure that this tool becomes an effective mechanism for supporting the domestic machine-b
