Kazakhstan’s GDP growth for the first eight months of 2025 was 6.5%.
According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Bureau, the main driver of growth was positive momentum in trade, industry, and the communications sector.
Industry grew by 7.6%. Growth accelerated in the manufacturing sector, where growth reached 6.5% compared to the same period in 2024.
The main drivers of the manufacturing industry:
• machinery manufacturing (+15.1%),
• food production (+10.1%),
• oil refining (+7.6%),
• chemical industry (+7.5%)
• metallurgy (+1.1%).
