Kazakhstani machine builders took part in the BICES 2025 international exhibition in Beijing

From September 23 to 26, 2025, Beijing (People's Republic of China) hosted BICES 2025, the largest international exhibition of construction machinery, machine-building equipment, technology, and tools for the mining industry.

The exhibition was attended by Talgat Bazarbekov, Director of the Executive Directorate of the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry, as well as heads of member enterprises of the Association (Almaty Heavy Machinery Plant JSC, Astana Electrical Engineering Plant LLP, QSM Resources LLP, and Kazakhselmash Corporation LLP, among others). The Kazakh delegation familiarized itself with the advanced technologies presented by the world's leading machine-building companies and held a series of meetings with potential partners.

As part of the business program, Talgat Bazarbekov met with Zhou Weidong, President of the Machinery Manufacturing Subcommittee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). The parties discussed issues of cooperation between the Committee and the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan, reached an agreement on expanding cooperation, and agreed on a joint work plan for 2026–2027.

According to Talgat Bazarbekov, the exhibition has become not only an effective platform for promoting Kazakhstani companies on the international market, but also an opportunity to study modern trends in the development of mechanical engineering, including digitalization, automation, and the introduction of environmentally friendly technologies.

“For the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry, participation in BICES 2025 is an important opportunity to exchange experience with world leaders and establish new business contacts. We are confident that the agreements and contacts made will contribute to the development of Kazakhstan's machine building industry and the expansion of its export potential,” said Talgat Bazarbekov.

More than 1,300 companies from 30 countries took part in BICES 2025, with a total exhibition area exceeding 150,000 m² and more than 150,000 visitors from 70 countries. The exhibition is traditionally one of the leading platforms for demonstrating innovations, exchanging experience, and establishing business contacts in the field of mechanical engineering and construction.
