Kazakh manufacturers test prototype of Registry of Kazakh Manufacturers

The Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in conjunction with JSC “Center for Electronic Finance,” is testing a prototype of the Registry of Kazakh Manufacturers – a digital government service that will make interaction between the state and business as transparent, fast, and convenient as possible. Thirty-six enterprises are participating in testing the Registry of Kazakh Manufacturers prototype.

The Registry of Kazakh Manufacturers will become part of Kazakhstan's industrial digital ecosystem and will serve as a single source of reliable data on national manufacturers. For enterprises, it is a digital profile that contains all key information, such as registration data, information about premises and equipment, licenses, certificates, suppliers, and products, etc.

After registration, manufacturers will have access to a personal account where they can apply for confirmation of their status as a Kazakhstani manufacturer in a few steps, attach the necessary information, including video recording of the production process, sign documents with an electronic signature, and track the entire process in real time. The system will be integrated with the state databases “GBD YL,” “E-licensing,” and others, which ensures the relevance of data and reduces the amount of manual input.

Participants were invited to take part in testing with a view to ensuring industry and regional diversity, so that the system could be tested in a variety of production environments, from large industrial enterprises to small workshops. Companies from 13 regions of the country are participating in testing the prototype of the Registry of Kazakh Manufacturers: Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Akmola, Atyrau, Zhambyl, Karaganda, Kostanay, Mangistau, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan, Turkestan regions, as well as the Abai and Ulytau regions. Among the participants are 19 large, 6 medium, and 11 small companies representing the machine-building, automotive, electrical engineering and electronics, chemical, textile, pharmaceutical, woodworking, and metallurgical industries. This diversity will allow us to test all the technical and functional features of the system, as well as collect specific suggestions for further refinement of the interface and logic of the service.

"The Registry of Kazakh Manufacturers is not just a digital database, but a tool for building trust between the state and business. We are creating a system that will replace dozens of certificates and confirm the status of Kazakhstani manufacturers based on real production data. This is a step towards greater transparency and efficiency of state support,“ said Olzhas Saparbekov, Vice Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan. ”We receive feedback directly from manufacturers. These suggestions will form the basis for refining the Registry before it is launched into commercial operation."

We initially designed the Registry to be an understandable, logical, and visually simple system. Our goal is for users not to need training or lengthy instructions: they should be able to log in, see how to submit an application, update their data, and attach documents. Testing is currently underway, and feedback from businesses is a key stage. We want the final version to be even more intuitive and user-friendly," explained Aidos Sydykov, Managing Director of Electronic Finance Center JSC.

Following the testing, the developers will conduct a detailed analysis of all suggestions and comments. After final refinement, the digital service will be launched into commercial operation and will become a platform for conscientious and genuine manufacturers who can confirm their production and contribution to the country's economy.
