The year 2026 has been declared the year of digitalization and artificial intelligence in the Republic of Kazakhstan. This strategic focus fully aligns with the approach of JSC "PZTM", which has been consistently implementing digital solutions in its production processes for many years.

The plant is methodically introducing modern automation and digital design tools — today, the SolidCam system is being integrated with SolidWorks into the production process.

SolidCam is a modern CAM system for programming computer numerical control (CNC) machines, widely used in industrial enterprises worldwide. Its integration with SolidWorks allows for efficient transitions from 3D models to finished control programs, enhancing processing accuracy, reducing the risk of errors, and optimizing production processes.

As part of the project, the plant has acquired licenses for SolidCam and SolidWorks software products, including modules for turning and milling, high-speed strategies, intelligent 3D machining, 4- and 5-axis operations, machine simulation, and multi-spindle equipment processing.

Using these modules allows for the optimization of tool paths, reduction of machining time, improvement of product quality, and safe simulation of the production process before it is executed on real equipment.

Special attention has been given to the development of human capital. An expert in SolidCam was invited to conduct training for CNC machine operators at the plant. Upon completion of the training, the employees will receive personalized certificates.

Trained specialists will now move to a new level of work: they will not only service the equipment but also independently develop and optimize control programs for CNC machines, model technological processes, and implement complex multi-coordinate operations, directly influencing the efficiency, precision, and digital maturity of the production.

The enterprise consistently follows this new development path, putting it into practice, investing in technologies, software, and, most importantly, in the development of its employees' competencies.
