The government continues to provide systematic support to domestic businesses, stimulating the growth of domestic production and enhancing the competitiveness of Kazakhstani companies.
Since the beginning of the year, approximately 75.6 million tenge has been reimbursed to manufacturing companies as part of government support measures. This was reported by the Directorate for State Incentives of the Kazakhstan Center for Industry and Export “QazIndustry.”
“The majority of the funds — over 74 million tenge — are allocated to reimburse costs related to increasing labor productivity. Reimbursements were received by enterprises in the machine-building, light industry, and construction materials sectors in the cities of Astana, Almaty, and Shymkent, as well as in the Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions,” the Directorate reported.
In addition, QazIndustry reimburses costs associated with promoting domestic goods in the market. These include expenses related to obtaining international certification, certification and laboratory testing of manufactured products, registration of certificates, and the purchase of equipment for applying identification marks — including software for labeling footwear — and so on. Under the second program, a company from the Pavlodar region was reimbursed for expenses totaling more than 1.4 million tenge.
As a reminder, QazIndustry, as the national operator of state industrial incentive measures, reimburses between 40% and 50% of the costs listed above. By the end of 2025, the total amount of approved applications exceeded 1.4 billion tenge. At that time, 60 enterprises received state support.
Last year, the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan updated its industrial incentive tools to strengthen support for the manufacturing sector.
Thus, domestic enterprises can now recover half of their costs for transporting priority goods by rail within the country. The maximum compensation amount is 10,000 MPR, or 43.25 million tenge. In addition, the reimbursement amount for international certification costs has been increased fivefold — from 3,000 to 15,000 MPR. Such certification is required for Kazakhstani manufacturers to participate in tenders held by multinational companies.
