EAEU Strengthens Cooperation in Mechanical Engineering

The EEC has called for new industrial chains.

Vitaly Vovk, Deputy Director of the Industrial Policy Department at the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), stated that industrialists in the Union’s member states must recognize the importance of building new cooperation chains. He made these remarks during working meetings with representatives of Belarusian machine tool manufacturers, held at the production site of the Kolomna Transport Engineering Plant in the Moscow region, reports inbusiness.kz, citing the Telegram channel “Telling About the EAEU.”

According to the EEC representative, the development of industrial cooperation is a strategic factor:

"This is important for achieving technological sovereignty not only for individual enterprises, but for the entire Eurasian transport engineering cluster and related industries," he explained.

Thus, the goal is to create a sustainable foundation for the industry’s independence from external supplies and to strengthen the competitiveness of the Union’s products.
