At a meeting, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission identified promising areas for the development of industrial cooperation in the field of construction and road machinery within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, the EEC press service reported.

“In particular, the plan calls for the production of construction and road machinery using alternative energy sources (gasoline, electricity, hydrogen), efforts to improve the quality of components and parts for construction and road machinery manufactured in the Union states, and the development of reverse engineering in the construction and road machinery industry,” the statement reads.

It is noted that this will allow for the systematization of measures necessary for the development of the construction and road machinery industry in the EAEU countries and create conditions for strengthening cooperation in this sector.
