An online meeting of the Board of the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry was held in Astana, at which key issues concerning the activities of the Union and its further development were considered.
The Chairman of the Board of the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry is Meyram Pshembaev. The Board members are: Temirzhan Abdrakhmanov, Zhanibek Baigabelov, Yerkanat Makanov, Maksat Kanatbayev, Vladimir Turekhanov, and Dinara Shukizhanova.
The meeting was opened by Meyram Pshembayev, Chairman of the Board of the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan.
"At the General Meeting of Union members held in July this year, proposals were made to delegate regional representatives the opportunity to represent the interests of associate members and participate in General Meetings on behalf of the region. This proposal received unanimous support, and the Executive Directorate was instructed to prepare the relevant amendments to the Charter," said Meyram Pshembaev.
During the meeting, Talgat Bazarbekov, Director of the Association's Executive Directorate, spoke on the following topics.
Amendments to the Association's Charter. The members of the Board supported the need to update a number of provisions in order to improve the Association's effectiveness. In particular, they supported the proposal to grant regional representatives the right to represent the interests of the Association's associate members (with advisory voting rights) at meetings of the General Assembly. Following the discussion, it was recommended that the draft amendments to the Charter be submitted for approval by the General Assembly of the Association's members.
Regional development. New regulations on regional representatives of the Association were approved, aimed at enhancing their role and involvement in the implementation of the Association's tasks. The document establishes the functions and responsibilities of representatives, strengthening the importance of regional structures in the work of the Association.
Encouragement of industry specialists. The members of the Board agreed on the candidates proposed for state awards ahead of Machine Builder's Day, which this year falls on September 28.
On behalf of the Association, 39 industry workers who have made a significant contribution to the development of the machine-building industry were nominated for awards. About 82% of the nominees are workers.
It was noted that recognition of the merits of industry specialists is an important incentive for their professional growth and strengthening the prestige of working professions.
All items on the agenda were supported by the members of the Board.
The Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry continues to work to strengthen its institutional base, expand regional cooperation, and support domestic enterprises in the machine-building industry that contribute to the development of the country's economy.
At the end of the meeting, Meyram Pshembaev congratulated his colleagues on the upcoming Machine Builders' Day, wishing them good health, success, and prosperity.
