The management of Sileno LLP (a subsidiary of JSC NC “KazMunayGas”) visited AtyrauNefteMash, a member of the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry.
During the visit, the company presented the current progress of manufacturing unique large-sized equipment for the pyrolysis unit — the key facility of the upcoming polyethylene production plant. Production work is already underway on the following equipment:

Quench Tower weighing 700 tons and standing 51 meters high;

Ethylene Fractionator weighing 1,470 tons and 101 meters high.
Both units will be part of the pyrolysis complex, which is the central element of polyethylene production. The current progress on the order has exceeded 50%.
In addition, the plant will manufacture another key component — a deaerator, designed to remove dissolved gases from water in the water treatment system.
In September 2024, as part of a forum supporting local manufacturers, the EPC contractor for the pyrolysis unit — a consortium of Tecnicas Reunidas and Sinopec Engineering Incorporation — signed a cooperation agreement with AtyrauNefteMash. Following this agreement, the company received an order for the production of large-scale equipment for the polyethylene plant.
