A meeting with representatives of the Italian company Italy4Trade International SRL was held at the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry.

The meeting was attended by Talgat Bazarbekov, Executive Director of the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry, Liliana Ursu, Director of Italy4Trade International SRL, and Alessandro Orizio, Partner and Project Manager of the company.

The parties discussed practical steps for implementing joint initiatives, including the organization of online B2B meetings between Kazakh and Italian companies, the development of production cooperation, the exchange of technologies, and the training of engineering personnel.

It was noted that cooperation opens up broad opportunities to strengthen the position of domestic machine building at the international level, attract investment, and exchange advanced engineering solutions.

“We see a high level of interest from Italian partners in developing joint projects in Kazakhstan. The Engineering Union is ready to support domestic enterprises in entering new markets and implementing international production standards,” said Talgat Bazarbekov.

For her part, Liliana Ursu spoke about plans to create a “Made with Italy and Kazakhstan” business hub and an Italian-Kazakh procurement office, where Kazakh companies will be able to regularly showcase their products.

She also invited domestic enterprises to participate in international exhibitions in Milan and Bologna in 2026 dedicated to metalworking, industrial automation, robotics, and high-tech equipment.

In turn, Talgat Bazarbekov invited Italian companies to participate in the XIII Forum of Machine Builders and the Kazakhstan Machinery Fair, which will be held in Astana on April 1-3, 2026, noting that this will be an effective platform for strengthening partnership ties.

The meeting was an important step in the implementation of the Union's mission to strengthen the position of Kazakhstani machine building at the global level and promote international technological cooperation.
