The Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry discussed the digitalization of manufacturing processes and the Development of Engineering Solutions

The Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry held its 20th online meeting of 2026, attended by regional representatives and machine-building enterprises.

During the meeting, participants discussed ways to improve the efficiency of production processes, the digitalization of accounting, and the development of engineering competencies at enterprises in the industry.

One of the key topics on the agenda was the implementation of digital solutions to improve the efficiency of manufacturing processes at enterprises in the processing industry. Danat Shanshanov, Director of AIS Digital LLP, presented the specialized AIS information system, designed for the digitalization of manufacturing enterprises with continuous and batch processes.

The company, a resident of the Astana Hub technology park, develops solutions aimed at increasing the transparency of production processes, controlling production costs, ensuring on-time order fulfillment, and reducing production losses. The system enables the collection and consolidation of production data, process modeling, calculation of actual production costs, as well as data analytics and visualization to support management decision-making.

Special attention was given during the meeting to issues related to engineering support and the development of design documentation for companies in the industry. Vladislav Kondyrev, Director of Experience Design Bureau LLP, and Anatoly Pigorev, the company’s Technical Director, presented the company’s capabilities in the design and manufacture of industrial equipment.

Experience Design Bureau LLP is a Kazakhstani engineering and manufacturing company specializing in the development of design documentation, the design of industrial equipment, the fabrication of metal structures, and engineering support for projects. The company has its own production facilities, including CNC turning and milling centers, plasma cutting and metalworking equipment, which allows it to carry out the full cycle of work without involving third-party contractors.

Among the company’s completed projects is the development of a complex of equipment for rail welding production. Currently, the company is participating in the design of a production line for the assembly of GAZ vehicles.

Meeting participants noted that the implementation of digital accounting tools, the development of engineering competencies, and the expansion of domestic production cooperation are important conditions for increasing the competitiveness of domestic enterprises and strengthening Kazakhstan’s industrial potential.
