On August 22, Talgat Bazarbekov, Director of the Executive Directorate of the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry, took part in the celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of the founding of KAMAZ-Engineering JSC.

The company’s anniversary was a significant event for the entire industry. Today, KAMAZ-Engineering is one of the flagships of Kazakhstan’s machine-building industry and a vivid example of successful industrial cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia.

During the event, guests toured the production facilities where dozens of types of commercial and specialized vehicles are manufactured. Over the past 20 years, the plant has evolved from its first production lines to a modern high-tech manufacturing facility. Today, it produces up to 10,000 vehicles annually, and over the course of its operation, more than 20,000 vehicles have been manufactured.

“Today, KAMAZ-Engineering produces a wide range of trucks and specialized vehicles that are in demand across all regions of Kazakhstan. The products meet modern standards for quality, safety, and reliability. The most important result of your work has been not only the production of thousands of units of equipment, but also your contribution to the development of national industry, personnel training, and the introduction of new standards of quality and service,” noted Talgat Bazarbekov.

KAMAZ-Engineering JSC is actively expanding its production capacity, mastering new types of equipment, and implementing modern welding, painting, and assembly technologies. The company employs over 300 specialists, and its branches in Almaty and Astana provide service support and engineering solutions.

Special attention is paid to localization; the plant has mastered over 40 types of specialized equipment and has also established production of key assemblies and components.

Today, KAMAZ-Engineering is not only a vehicle manufacturer but also a platform for personnel training, the introduction of new technologies, and international cooperation. The plant’s production area exceeds 12,000 square meters, including vehicle assembly, welding and painting sections, warehouses, and logistics.

The Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry notes that the plant’s activities make a significant contribution to the development of the domestic machine-building industry and the strengthening of the country’s industrial potential.
