The Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry announced the results of an open creative competition for media professionals aimed at promoting and providing objective coverage of the country’s machine-building industry.
The competition brought together journalists from national and regional media outlets who submitted materials in various genres—analytical articles, reports, interviews, and others. Participants demonstrated a high level of professionalism and a deep understanding of the industry’s agenda and current trends in the development of Kazakhstan’s machine-building sector.
The winners were determined following the competitive selection process.
First place and the grand prize of 1,000,000 tenge were awarded to Adil Saptayev, a correspondent for the multimedia content production department of the Kazakparat International Information Agency - “Kazinform,” for the article “From a Screwdriver to a Locomotive: How Kazakhstan’s Main Industrial Sector Is Developing.”
Second place and a prize of 700,000 tenge went to Dostan Eldesov, editor of the department at Kazak Uni LLP, for the piece “The Phenomenon of Comprehensive Development of Kazakhstan’s Machinery Industry.”
Third place and a prize of 500,000 tenge went to Amandyk Abdulov, a reporter for the online edition of Atyrau Press, for his article “The Alpauyts Who Travel by Train Across Kazakhstan.”

The Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry notes that holding such competitions contributes to the development of industry journalism, increases public interest in the machine-building industry, and strengthens cooperation between the media and the manufacturing community.
