The Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry and ITALY4TRADE INTERNATIONAL S.R.L. Discussed prospects for cooperation

An online meeting was held between Talgat Bazarbekov, Director of the Executive Directorate of the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry, Liliana Ursu, Director of ITALY4TRADE INTERNATIONAL S.R.L., and Alessandro Orizio, Partner and Project Manager of ITALY4TRADE INTERNATIONAL S.R.L.

During the negotiations, the main focus was on the internationalization of business, expanding opportunities for joint projects, and creating a platform for strengthening ties between Kazakhstani and Italian companies.

"Kazakhstani enterprises are interested in cooperating with Italian companies, especially in the fields of metalworking, automation, and robotics. As part of the National Housing and Utilities Modernization Project, there is a need for turbines, communication equipment, and fittings. The Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry is ready to act as a bridge between the machine-building enterprises of the two countries and create conditions for a mutually beneficial partnership," said Talgat Bazarbekov.

Italy expressed great interest in developing joint projects.

"We see potential in organizing specialized exhibitions, online webinars, and B2B meetings, as well as implementing joint educational programs and specialized courses, which could serve as a starting point for cooperation. We see the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry as a link that will enable practical cooperation," said Liliana Ursu.

Alessandro Orizio added that it is important to understand the specific needs of Kazakh companies so that Italian companies can offer the technologies and solutions that will be in demand in Kazakhstan.

At the end of the meeting, Talgat Bazarbekov invited Italian companies to participate in the 13th Forum of Machine Builders and the Kazakhstan Machinery Fair, which will be held in Astana on April 1-3, 2026, noting that this will be a good opportunity to strengthen partnerships.
