The 41st meeting with regional representatives was held at the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry

The Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry held its 41st online meeting with regional representatives and industry partners. During the meeting, current issues related to the implementation of dual education were discussed, and new production solutions for enterprises in the machine-building industry were presented.

Leyla Kurmanova, HR Director of CT ASSEMBLY LLP, spoke about the practical implementation of dual education at the enterprise.

CT ASSEMBLY LLP is a joint German-Kazakh enterprise that manufactures CLAAS and HORSCH brand combine harvesters, reapers, tractors, and sowing complexes. The company has adapted the successful German model of dual education to the realities of Kazakhstan.

"Today, young people are not very motivated to pursue careers in mechanical engineering and agriculture, and college graduates are not always ready for specific production. We felt a shortage of specialists in metalworking and mechanical assembly and realized that we needed to train our own personnel. Therefore, we introduced a dual education system so that students could learn their profession in real-life conditions," said Leyla Kurmanova.

The program includes analyzing staffing needs, selecting a partner college, training coaches and mentors, career guidance, student selection, and concluding tripartite agreements. At the enterprise, future specialists receive scholarships, meals, protective equipment, and insurance.

According to the speaker, the key to success is the interest of colleges and their active participation in the process.

Yerkhanat Makanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry, noted that CT ASSEMBLY LLP is one of the Association's active partners in the development of dual education:

“A bill on mechanical engineering is currently being discussed, with specific provisions devoted to dual education. The Association continues to actively promote these initiatives.”

In addition, at the meeting, Askar Nurmaganbetov, Deputy Director of Asia Kotlomash LLP, gave a presentation on the company, talking about its products and production capabilities.

Asia Kotlomash, located in Shchuchinsk, is a leading manufacturer of boiler equipment in Kazakhstan. The company specializes in the production of steam and hot water boilers, as well as boiler auxiliary modules and equipment of various capacities.

“Our goal is to provide enterprises and cities with reliable thermal energy, developing domestic production and supporting Kazakhstan's technological independence,” said Askar Nurmaganbetov.

The meeting served as a platform for sharing experiences and developing joint solutions aimed at improving the efficiency of domestic engineering, developing human resources, and strengthening the position of Kazakhstani manufacturers.
