The 36th meeting of the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry was held with the participation of regional representatives and industry partners. During the event, current issues of machine building development, measures to support domestic manufacturers, and social protection of workers were discussed.
Ruslan Kurmangaliyev, General Manager of Halyk-Life JSC, presented information on pension annuities. The program has been operating in the Kazakh market for over 15 years and has proven itself to be a reliable tool for the social protection of citizens. It allows people to receive pension payments earlier than the established term: men can use their savings 8 years before retirement, women 10 years before.
The pension annuity allows you to transfer funds from the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund to an insurance company and receive guaranteed lifetime monthly payments, which provides a stable income and financial independence in the future.
The program is implemented under a license from the National Bank of Kazakhstan and is regulated by the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market. All clients are protected by a state guarantee, and the requirements established by the program comply with international standards.
Thus, a pension annuity is not only a financial instrument, but also an effective measure of social support that helps citizens plan for the future and increases the level of social security in the country.
Nikolay Ershov, Deputy Director for Technical Policy at Ust-Kamenogorsk Condenser Plant LLP, familiarized the meeting participants with the company's products and product range. The plant manufactures electrical equipment for power systems and industrial enterprises in accordance with modern technical, economic, and environmental challenges, as well as international safety standards.
The company's products contribute to the efficient and economical use of energy resources, improve the quality of transmitted and consumed electricity, reduce losses, and ensure the reliability of the energy infrastructure.
The company pays particular attention to the introduction of innovative technologies, increasing the localization of production, and expanding export potential. The plant actively cooperates with domestic and foreign partners, develops new types of products, and modernizes existing production lines.
Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry, Yerkanat Makanov, said that the Association, together with a number of enterprises – Kelet JSC, Elcos LLP, Santekhprom LLP, and Pavlodar Pipe Rolling Plant LLP, has begun systematic work on providing machine builders with ferrous metallurgy products.
According to him, negotiations have been held with representatives of Qarmet JSC, as a result of which an agreement has been reached on cooperation and the company's readiness to supply domestic manufacturers with its products. Within two weeks, the above-mentioned member companies of the Association will submit applications for direct contracts with Qarmet JSC for the supply of ferrous metallurgy products. In addition, the company is considering the possibility of supplying its products at wholesale prices, which will reduce the cost of end products for machine builders.
A separate issue is the development of infrastructure for shipping products. Currently, deliveries are made by rail, but Qarmet JSC is ready to consider the possibility of creating conditions for road shipping within Kazakhstan, which will significantly increase the efficiency and accessibility of deliveries.
Yerkanat Makanov emphasized the importance of analyzing the industry's needs for ferrous metallurgy products in two areas: first, determining the volumes of products that are already being produced, and second, identifying items in demand that are not currently produced by Qarmet JSC. This approach will make it possible to develop a strategy for expanding the product range and building a sustainable system for providing machine builders with the necessary resources.
“It is important that we arrive at a mutually beneficial model of cooperation. Machine builders need to receive products on fair and acceptable terms, and metallurgists need to expand their product range and increase production based on market demand,” he noted.
At the end of his speech, Yerkanat Makanov congratulated his colleagues on the upcoming Machine Builder's Day, emphasizing the enormous contribution of each specialist to the development of the country's industrial potential and economy.
