The 35th meeting with regional representatives was held in the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry

The Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry held its 35th meeting with regional representatives and industry partners. Participants discussed issues related to the development of machine building and measures to support domestic manufacturers.

Particular attention was paid to the creation of a register of domestic producers.

Zhansaya Zhakupova, head of the Directorate for the creation of an SME belt around large enterprises of JSC “Kazakhstan Center for Industry and Export ”QazIndustry", spoke in detail about the progress of the register's creation.

According to her, on August 27, 2025, the Rules for maintaining the register were approved, and the list of technical operations was agreed upon with all industry state bodies and is currently being sent to the Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan for approval. The system is already being tested with the participation of OTP and will be ready for a pilot launch in early October.

The registry is being formed by an authorized body and consists of the following stages:

1) submission of an application through the user's personal account in the system;

2) digital verification;

3) evaluation of production by an industry commission;

4) decision by the authorized body on inclusion or non-inclusion in the registry.

Zhansaya Zhakupova emphasized that all valid industrial certificates issued by the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan will be integrated into the system. Each certificate will be assigned specific HS codes. In the future, companies will have to undergo digital verification based on 26 indicators.

If a company does not have access to the internet or the ability to provide high-quality video, on-site inspections will be carried out. If any discrepancies are found, the enterprise will receive a notification and will be able to correct the errors within a specified period.

To make decisions on inclusion or exclusion from the register, industry commissions are created with the participation of government agencies (Ministry of Industry and Construction, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Agriculture) and industry associations, including the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry. Based on the results of the review of applications, the commission draws up a protocol, on the basis of which the authorized body makes a final decision.

After a Kazakhstani manufacturer is included in the register, the authorized body monitors it at least once a quarter through digital verification.

The deadlines for the procedure are as follows: digital verification of the enterprise – up to 3 working days from the date of application, evaluation of production by the commission – 10 working days, decision-making – 2 working days.

The issuance of industrial certificates will continue until the end of 2025. All documents issued before this date will remain valid until the end of the transition period, i.e., until January 1, 2026.

A separate item on the agenda was a presentation of products manufactured by the Venture Firm Poisk LLP, which has been operating in Petropavlovsk for over 25 years.

Marketing and Sales Director Denis Pytiev presented the range of products manufactured by the company. Today, the company produces over 10,000 components used in the operation of equipment in the oil and gas and other industries.

The company's key partners include RD-KazMunayGas JSC (Ozenmunaygas PF, Embamunaygas PF), PKKR JSC, Zaman Energo LLP, Ontustik Munaygaz JSC, Azimut Energy Services JSC, Volkovgeologiya JSC, and others.

Summing up the meeting, the Union noted that the work on forming the Register of Domestic Manufacturers is of strategic importance for the development of domestic industry.
