The 33rd meeting with regional representatives was held in the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry

The 33rd meeting with regional representatives was held at the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry, where current issues of cooperation between enterprises and prospects for the development of the machine-building industry were discussed.

Kozhan Markhabat, advisor to the director for business and science cooperation at the Institute of Physical and Technical Sciences of L.N. Gumilyov ENU, spoke on the topic of business and science cooperation. In his speech, he emphasized that the integration of scientific developments into production processes plays an important role in increasing the competitiveness of domestic enterprises. Universities and scientific institutes can offer businesses ready-made research, prototypes, and innovative technologies, while enterprises, in turn, are capable of ensuring their practical implementation.

Ruslan Balmagambetov, Commercial Director of the Asiafilter Inc. LLP, also gave a presentation. He presented the company's products and talked about the development of the enterprise, which specializes in the production of industrial filters. The company manufactures a wide range of products, from compact and panel filters to cartridge, bag, and HEPA filters capable of trapping the smallest dust particles. The Asiafilter Inc. LLP's solutions are used in light and heavy industry, food processing enterprises, medical institutions, educational organizations, and places of mass gathering.

During the meeting, Yerkanat Makanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry, raised the issue of excluding Samruk-Kazyna JSC from the requirements of the declaration on homogeneous products of domestic manufacturers for participation in the Fund's tenders.

The Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry is collecting proposals and opinions from industry enterprises on this issue. The final recommendations will be compiled and sent to the relevant authorities for further consideration.

The Association, together with interested government agencies and development institutions, will continue to work on improving the regulatory framework in the field of procurement. The main goal is to increase the share of domestic products in state and quasi-state procurement and to stimulate the growth of the country's industrial potential.

The AKMI continues to create a platform for constructive dialogue between the state, business, and the scientific community. The result of this work should be the development of new production models, the introduction of innovations, and the strengthening of the position of domestic machine building in domestic and foreign markets.
